Mkuu wa mkoa wa Rukwa Mh .Joseph Mkirikiti  ametaka watendaji kuwajibika katika kuthibiti mifugo inayoharibu mazingira kuzunguka eneo la hifadhi a msitu wa mbizi uliopo Sumbawanga Akizungumza mara baada ya kutembelea eneo la hifadhi msitu wa mbizi eneo ambao lina historia la kuwa na mbege wekundu amewataka watendaji kuwajibika katika kulinda hifadhi hiyo huku akiahidi kutoa zawadi kwa kijiji kitakachowajibika vizuri kulinda mazingira. Kwa upande wake  PFC Mohamed Kyangi ambaye ni muhifadhi mkuu katika hifadhi yam situ mbizi amedai  licha ya kutoa elimu ya mazingira kwa wananchi lakini bado kuna changamoto ya uchomaji moto hali inayopelekea kutumia gharama nyingi katika kulinda  hifadhi ya msitu huo. Hifadhi yam situ wa mbizi inaendelea umekuwaa na mchango mkubwa sana kwa wakati wa Sumbawanga kwani wamekuwa wakizalisha miche ya miti na kuwagawia wananchi katika vikundi.  

  Development stakeholders in Rukwa Region have called on the government to include the issue of reproductive health in the education curriculum, so that it can be taught in a series of regular classroom sessions with the aim of empowering students, especially young people, to avoid pregnancy and marriage at an early age.
